Abstract |
Metastatic spinal cord compression is one of the most dreaded complications of metastatic cancer and notorious for severe functional deficits. Once they develop, they will severely affect the quality of life and the functional independence of affected patients.
Here we report of thoracic epidural metastasis, which was not detected by whole body bone scan at 15 days before the breakout of paraplegia, by high grade neuroendocrine carcinoma from recurrent stomach cancer with reviews of the literatures. |
