Symptomatic spinal metastases of glioblastoma multiforme(GM) are rarely described. We present two cases of spinal lepto- meningeal metastases of GM. One case is a 57-year-old man who presented with radicular pain 6 months after the surgery and radiation therapy of cerebral glioblastoma. The magnetic resonance image(MRI) of lumbar spine revealed an intradural mass at the cauda equina. The tumor was removed subtotally with L2-4 hemipartial laminectomy and histologic diagnosis was giloblastoma. External beam radiation therapy(30Gy) was followed. The other case is a 50-year-old woman who developed paresthesia and motor weakness on her left leg and urinary and fecal difficulty followed the brain surgery for cerebral glioblas- toma 9 months ago. The thoracolumbar MRI demonstrated multiple intradural masses through the entire thoracolumbar spinal cord. L1-2 total laminectomy and biopsy. Were performed, and the histologic diagnosis was giloblastoma.
