Abstract
The authors report a case of adult benign Sacrococcygeal teratoma diagnosed by MRI and pathologic finding. It has been estimated that the incidence of sacrococcygeal teratomas in children is once in every 40,000 births. However, the diagnosis of these tumor in adults is extremely rare.
The patient underwent total tumor resection with coccygectomy and primary closure using posterior approach and, there is no evidence of recurrence after operation.
