We report a rare case of spinal cord arteriovenous malformation(SCAVM) associated with spinal aneurysm presenting with intracranial subarachnoid hemorrhage(SAH). A 32-year-old man had suffered from a sudden onset of headache. Brain computed tomography showed a slightly diffuse SAH and cerebral angiogram revealed no abnormality. Spinal angiogram demonstrated SCAVM associated with spinal aneurysm in the lumbar region of the spinal cord. Embolization for SCAVM was successfully performed and patient was then discharged without further neurological deficit. SCAVM and spinal aneurysm should be con- sidered in cases of nontraumatic intracranial SAH in which cerebral angiography revealed negative finding.
